Abrasive Grit Sizes

This table lists the grit sizes used in making sandpaper and abrasive belts, wheels, stones and hones used for sanding, sharpening, and polishing, etc.

Relative comparison

This table of relative abrasive grit sizes is useful and close but is not an exact comparison between the worldwide standards. The methods for determining grit sizes differ between the standards organizations.
