Will that be red or black?
Male Northern Flickers sport either red or black moustachial stripes. There's a Yellow-shafted group with a red nape, gray crown, tan face, yellow under wings and tail and a black moustache on the male. There's a Red-shafted group with a gray nape, brown crown, gray face, reddish under wings and tail and a red moustache on the male.
