Yes, I know
The image is messed up. My Verizon connection is so slow here at the Cactus RV Park I can't get the image to finish uploading. I'll have to come back and fix that later.
I miss the internet the most....
[update Monday evening] Finally I'm camped with good access - It's been an interesting weekend - more to follow....
Night camp
Site ?? - Cactus RV Park, Tucumcari NM
- Cactus RV Park is an old 40 site park along the now dilapidated Historic Route 66 frontage in Tucumcari New Mexico with basic gravel sites and full hookups. It's nothing fancy but is quiet and clean and handy to a decent restaurant and the Dinosaur Museum. Some sites are nicely shaded.
- Verizon cell phone service is available here with a weak signal but there is no Broadband service.
- Locate Cactus RV Park on my Night Camps map
- Check the weather here
Visual Thinkers
When I talk to other people I translate my pictures into stock phrases or sentences I have "on tape" inside my head. Those kids who called me Tape Recorder were right about me. They were mean, but they were right. I am a tape recorder. That's how I'm able to talk. The reason I don't sound like a tape recorder anymore is that I have so many stock phrases and sentences I can move around into new combinations. All my public speaking has been a huge help. When I got criticisms saying I always give the same speech, I started moving my slides around. That moved my phrases around too.
