Moleskine Notebook Case

Wanting a way to carry my Moleskine notebook together with a pencil, I laced up this little leather case.

"I write down things that surprise me in notebooks. I never actually get around to reading them and using what I've written, but I do tend to reproduce the same thoughts later. So the main value of notebooks may be what writing things down leaves in your head."

The Age of the Essay, Paul Graham, September 2004

This is one of my early attempts at working in leather and it's pretty rough but I'm showing it here anyway to remind me of the value of it's concept.

It's just big enough for the Moleskine and a standard pencil.

On the back I laced on a panel behind which I can slip a list or bank deposit etc. I seldom do, but I can slip my belt through the horizontal slits if I want it on my belt.

Moleskine notebooks, sketchbooks and diaries are available online at Kikkerland.com and at Amazon.com
